For the past 30 years I have been working in the Telecoms Industry, during this time I have been buying , developing and renovating property. I've lost count of the wasted time, money, stress and frustration that I've encountered with home improvement companies and tradespeople, who provide poor communication, bad workmanship, false promises and missed deadlines!
I found that the only way I could get a first class service, was to personally manage the work and co-ordinate the projects - this way deadlines were met and quality was never compromised. Ironically, I found that I loved my new self-made role.
My enthusiasm, drive, communication skills and commitment to quality, combined with working with skilled tradespeople, gave me a huge buzz. New bathroom, new build, new kitchen, new boiler... they all made me smile!
Family, friends and neighbours would ask me to introduce them to the tradespeople and manufacturers I had used, because they too wanted the same quality of products and service that I had received.
So, one day I was thinking 'how can I connect all my contacts like builders, roofers, kitchen makers and architects into a first class end-to-end service and offer a seamless customer journey?'
The solution was to unite all these people in one unique business. Next, I brought together a superior community of talented tradespeople, manufacturers and business professionals who have decades of experience. So, in the village of Hampton in Arden our company 'Hampton' was created.
